1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Vocara ("Service"), operated by araNET Solutions LLC ("Company", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Vocara provides AI-powered phone receptionist services, including automated call answering, appointment booking, message taking, and call analytics for businesses. The Service operates through Twilio telecommunications infrastructure and AI language models.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to bind your business to these terms.

4. Billing and Payments

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Prices are listed on our website and may change with 30 days notice. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. Free trials do not require payment information until the trial period ends. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard — access continues until the end of the billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for illegal purposes, (b) transmit spam or unsolicited calls, (c) impersonate another person or business, (d) interfere with the Service's operation, (e) use the Service to make emergency (911) calls, (f) record calls without proper consent as required by applicable law.

6. Call Recording Consent

If you enable call recording, you are responsible for complying with all applicable call recording laws, including obtaining consent from callers where required. Some jurisdictions require all-party consent for call recording. Vocara provides the technical capability but compliance is your responsibility.

7. Data and Privacy

We process call data, transcripts, and business information as described in our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of your business data. We do not sell your data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

8. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for damages resulting from service downtime, including missed calls or lost business. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VOCARA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, non-payment, or abusive usage. You may cancel your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or dashboard notification at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
